Solidarity Vs. Quarantine

what is the difference between staying put in a single place with nothing to do but keep boredom as a close friend or being Quarantined?

I've had a friend who has been in quarantined because of the pandemic spread of the Influenza A which has ravaged the planet on the near few weeks. His case was that he came into contact with a person on whom was "suspected" to carry the H1N1 strain and therefore has been imposed with the quarantine.

I have another friend on which is as healthy as an ox and just sat in the house for the most part of 2 weeks and complained that he was bored. He had the liberation of just stepping out of the house to do something, but just didn't wanna and really did b*tch abt it soon after...

what is more worse, being in self inflicted quarantine or a government imposed quarantine?

for me, i would say whatever is fine, just get me a computer with an "Fast" broadband internet service, and i'll be there quiet as a church mouse. No need to complain abt the inadequacies of the government or self social status, just mind your own stuff and perhaps you'll grow to be someone that can use that time for something more worthwhile.
