Its another day and as usual the computer has been running for weeks without rest. contemplating on whether to upgrade components and internet access is still pondered at the back of my head... but alas, its a dream which has been pending since i thought abt it.
the list of components for me to run the new server would be a handful and interesting if i could only get the budget for it.
some of the components i would like to have would be like, a Mac Book Pro 15" or 13" would be fine, a linux running desktop system, i heard that they are less prone to problems than that of the Microsoft kind. and ever faithful, a windows machine for me to do some jibber jabber.
i have also thought of implementing a web-cam monitoring system into the house as there have been some peculiar activities lately in the neighborhood and surrounding areas, but its just not feasible enough for me to look into these infrastructures in the immediate future...
how is it having dreams can be such a demotivating factor,
1) dreams of having multiple platforms at disposal.
2) dreams of having a server and super fast internet connection on demand
3) dreams of running a business of the back of my home
4) dreams of setting up access and infrastructure for a foundation of a business.
anyone willing to invest 1/2 million for such investment. :)
