What is ...

what is life but a journey..
what is death but a destination..
what is sanity & insanity but a mere difference in point of views..
what is love but a question of the mind..
what is trust but the most fragile thing ever made..
what is friendship but common understanding..
what is desire but a stronger want..
what is knowledge but the strongest weapon ever created..
what is a journey when it only leads to one destination.....

Tragic Times We Live In!

Oh so such tragic times we live in this world today,
why is it difficult to just come out and play,
living in estacy by selling your inner soul,
looking for another moment like filling a rice bowl,

dull moments we tend to live on by and by,
nothing ever happens unexpectedly on the fly,
but there is immense forces that bring to play now,
to make a smile everywhere out of every frown,

tell me not tragedy in this modern set of past,
but a memory that will never fade and forever last,
of a friend who always will a positive stride,
taking grace in everything whilst nothing to hide,

yet a rainbow blooms over the eastern summer sky,
a smile blossoms into a laugh and cry,
tick tock does the the time channel through,
to uplift the veil of the times that were ever so blue.

I just thought that its gonna be a simple month this July...
I go to work, i attend a couple of weddings and voila! it'll be August and so on, but little did i know that there's a whole lot more planned than just that...

1) tonight there will be a function for my sister, though its a secret Hens Night, i do not think that she even knows the existence of this blog.
2) tomorrow night will be my God-Sisters' Engagement Ceremony, its a big thing in our family to have a grand reception for the engagement.
3) a dinner to attend (due to a certain disclosure, i cannot release the information regarding this dinner).
4) a birthday to attend.
5) my sisters wedding.
6) the after party for the wedding (not confirmed as yet)
7) a Drinking, eating and dance party with the cousins which has been planned for OVER a year to officially take place.
8) dinner with Khaira and company.
9) St. Ann's Feast day (possibly a trip to penang)
10) a party with the pots crew.... :P
11) (Cousin) Naveen's Wedding; of which i am the best man.
12) possibility of another event planned before the end of the month.

July the 4th approaching

Dam dam da dam dam da da da da da da dam! ok, not really a bright idea trying to play the American Marching anthem in plain text but you get the point.

this day marks a significant era in human History, it was the day that the United Stated of America sought Independence from the confederate British and therefore establishing them as the US of A.

It was the day in which, the movie Independence Day was premiered in the year 1996 on which was one of the best movies ever created...

it is the day, my cousin; Diana Kavita is gonna officially get Engaged. All best wishes and due Congratulations to her and to her Fiancee, Gordon Fernandez. It'll be a real whop-ti-doo event as most of the family have already tried to make preparations to come down from whatever overseas residences that they have been in.

Windows 7 Vs Wubi 9.0

i've been in a dilemma on which i have no idea what to do...

i have both installation disks for Windows 7 and for Ubuntu 9.04 and since ubuntu now supports the functions for my Atheros wireless card, its really a good time to start using the preferred choice for an operating system, Linux. not only is it easy to use these days, but also its convenient for the reason of that its completely FREE...

windows 7 is still the beta version, therefore its still free, but it's bound to have some "knick knack paddywhack" issues, as windows almost always are. i hear that its THE operating system to look out for but the price tag of RM 900 will definitely elude me from being a Systems Analyst for Microsoft... Expecially a free one...

now how can i decide...
looks like the next week will be me in a platform that i can use to experiment with to make sure that linux has all the requirments i need and preferabally more so i can make the switch soon.

did i forget to mention a last contender in my list. Hell yeah i did!
i'm referring to the Latest spawn from the self centred cupertino California company, Apple Computers.
Snow Leopard is gonna be the wickedest operating system to date in the arsenal of all things mac. but alas, mac's only come with proprietary hardware which comes sexily bundled with gorgeous packaging, but extremely expensive price to bode with.

looks like i will have to either make due with a Multi-Boot system which will comprise of Wubi, Windows 7, Snow Leopard, and Vista(compatibility sake)...
